We just arrived in Orlando and our trip is in a couple days. WE have the dining plan, do we need to carry cash to tip our servers?

Hi, Karen! You are down to the last few days of your magical vacation countdown! I am so glad to hear you have included the Disney Dining Plan in your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans. It will help make your meal times super easy. Who wants to worry about skipping a few favorite attractions so you can head back to cook dinner for the family? Not me! All you have to do is just head to a Quick Service dining location or make dining reservations at some Table Service dining locations and your meal plans are set!

While your Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements include everything from entree to beverage to dessert, they do not include the tip for the Cast Member assisting you during the meal in most cases. I use that "in most cases" because gratuity is included in the cost of dining at a few dining locations. These include Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Luau. We always carry extra cash with us to acknowledge the quality service that the Cast Members provide us.

Since you have already arrived in the Orlando area, know that there are ATMs found at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, in Disney Springs, and in the parks. If you need to utilize one so that you have extra cash on hand during your vacation, just take a quick peek at this interactive map that will help you find a convenient one. You can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to locate one by filtering Guest Services on the interactive map's pull-down menu and then click Show List. You will see a listing for ATM, which will allow you to Find on Map or even Get Directions for the nearest one.

I hope you have a magical vacation and please let us know if you have any other questions!
