We will arrive at WDW in the p.m. of June 18th. We are not purchasing park passes for that day so we are trying to make an ADR for T-Rex in DT but having a hard time. Does that restaurant take reservations? Any ideas for a fun night outside the parks?

Hi Jennifer! Going to Downtown Disney on our arrival day is a family tradition. There's tons to do, it totally gets us in the Disney spirit, and then we're ready to hit the parks on our first full day. The T-Rex Cafe in Downtown Disney does indeed take reservations, but we have also lucked out by getting seated without ressies in the past. You might also want to try the Rainforest Cafe. My daughter loves going to Raglan Road Irish Pub, as the food is great, and she loves watching the Irish dancers. You can also go to my favourite quick service, Wolfgang Puck Express, where no reservations are needed, or taken for that matter!

There's so much to do while at Downtown Disney. You can soar above it all in Characters in Flight, enjoy DisneyQuest, take in a movie, or just enjoy the shops. Be sure to check out what entertainment is happening too. It's the perfect start to your vacation!
