    We arrive at WDW on Fri Nov 5. What is a good restaurant/show for dinner to kick off the trip? We will not be visiting the parks on our day of arrival. Traveling with my son who will be 3 and hubby.

    Hi Amy!

    I would recommend Mickey's Backyard Barbeque.  This is a lively character dining experience where your son will meet  Mickey, Minnie and some of their friends.  There is singing and dancing while you dine at this all you care to eat open air pavilion.  There is  even the opportunity for your son to dance with the characters!  It's a great way to start your Disney vacation.
