We arrive at WDW on Dec 18 in the pm. We do not intend to go to the MK since most of the day will be gone but would still like to see Mickey's Very Christmas Party. Do I need to use one my pre-paid theme park tickets to gain admission to the special event?

When attending the evening parties at the Magic Kingdom (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party), you need to purchase tickets for that event. However, all you need to enter the park is the party ticket. There is no need to also use a regular park admission ticket.

The party officially starts at 7:00 p.m., but you will be allowed into the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. using only the party ticket.

Have a great time at the party!
