We arrive at SSR 4/19; we bought our park passes thru the Disney website. We've linked our passes on MDE & have received our Magic Bands; but our passes are "will call"; so do we need to pick up the physical passes before we go to MK our firs

    Hi Debra!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner. You must be getting excited! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a great choice, especially in the spring since it has such beautifully kept grounds and gardens. Be sure to check out the new walking bridge to Downtown Disney. Now this favorite shopping and dining destination is just a short stroll from the resort!

Before the days of the Magic Band, you would have to visit Guest Relations at a theme park or Downtown Disney, or the concierge desk at your resort to physically pick up your tickets. With the introduction of Magic Bands and My Disney Experience this is no longer necessary for general theme park tickets. If you were to purchase Walt Disney World Annual Pass or for other special ticket types such as Florida Resident passes, it is still necessary to visit Guest Relations to have those tickets activated. If you wish to receive a physical card version of your ticket, this can be done at the concierge desk at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and does not have to be done at a theme park. I recommend using the concierge desk as it should be less crowded than Guest Relations and you won’t waste any valuable theme park time.

I hope you have a truly magical vacation to Walt Disney World. Let us know if you have any additional questions before your trip, otherwise it’s time to get packing!

    Have a Disney Day!
