    Hi, We arrive at 5 at the Port Orleans Riverside and have the Micky's Back Yard BBQ scheduled at at 6:30. Do we have time to take transportation and if so what is the best way, or should we hire a taxi? Thanks!

    Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel with your great question, Peyton!  You are going to love staying at DIsney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort!  Because you would need to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a motor launch (water taxi) bound for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, I would recommend taking a taxi from your Disney Resort to Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I would allow approximately 60-90 minutes travel time if using Disney transportation and only 15 -20 minutes if traveling by taxi. Because you have such a short time frame from arriving at your Resort to your dinner show, I think the small cab fare would definitely be worth the peace of mind and prevent you from having to rush around on your first evening in the "Happiest Place on Earth."
