Hi there! If we arrive before our 3pm hotel check-in time, can we still go to the hotel, park our car, and go explore all that WDW Resort has to offer? We're staying at Coronado and I'd love to know if we can drop off our car before 3pm check in!

Hey there, Medora! I am so glad you came to planDisney to ask your question about your January vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

You can absolutely arrive at any time on your arrival day and park your vehicle in the resort lot. You also get free parking at the theme parks; in case you plan to head to a park.

When you arrive to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, simply pull your vehicle up to the entrance. Tell the valet that you are checking in, and he will allow you to unload your bags for bell services to take and leave the car for a few minutes while you check in. I always go inside to tell them I have arrived, just in case a room happens to be ready early. I have gotten lucky a few times and been able to take my bags right up to my room.

Once you have unloaded your bags and let the desk know you have arrived, they will tell you the best place to park. If you are staying at the resort to swim, eat, and explore, you are welcome to do all of these things. Coronado Springs is a larger resort with some great walking paths and a super cool pool area. January might be a bit cool to swim, but you can always just dip your toes in the water.

I hope you have a wonderful visit for The Most Magical Celebration on Earth. Be sure to try some of the awesome anniversary treats that can be found all around the Walt Disney World property.

    Happy Traveling,
    Tracy
