Hi, Melisa! Thanks for sending in your question to planDisney! I've got a
Rumbly in My Tumbly just thinking about all the good eating you'll be doing at The Happiest Place on Earth soon.
I spoke with the front desk at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel today, and unfortunately, none of their dining locations have reopened yet, and she sounded doubtful that they would be before your trip. However, I have a few suggestions for you! Your hotel is just a short distance from the
Downtown Disney District, and these restaurants often have more availability than the ones in the parks. Try looking for times during off-peak hours, such as a late lunch. One of my personal favorites is
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen which serves New Orleans style favorites, including yummy beignets.
Even if you don't get an advance dining reservation, there's a chance you can still eat at Disneyland Resort without reservations. Using the
Disneyland Mobile app, you can add your party to the
walk-up list at select table-service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort (subject to availability). Participating restaurants will have a QR code located near the restaurant entrance. Once your table is ready, you'll get a push notification through the app.
You may want to consider counter service dining as an alternative; many locations have food comparable to table service restaurants. Some of the best-rated include
Rancho Del Zocalo and
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Disneyland Park,
Flo's V8 Cafe in Disney California Adventure Park,
Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel, and
GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. If you can, definitely squeeze in a visit to the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival which ends on April 26.
I hope some of these suggestions work out for you, Melisa! We hope to see ya real soon!
