Arrive very early. Planning AM at the pool (AKL) then AK for lunch & parade maybe Festival of the Lion King then dinner at Epcot & Illuminations Is this too much after overnight flight & is there a place to change if we cant get into our room?

    Hi Julie,

Personally I do think you have too much planned for that day, especially as you will probably be very tired due to your overnight flight. If I was you I would skip the evening in Epcot and the fireworks in favour of a restful evening and an early night. This way you'll be raring to go the next day!

I stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge a few months ago and we had the reverse problem that you have. Due to a late flight and the fact that my sister and I wanted to swim in the afternoon without a room to change in, we asked at the front desk and were told we could use the facilities at the gym. This consisted of some showers and a changing area so more than adequate. You will also be able to leave your luggage with bell services if you have any.

I hope that helps and you have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
