Well, Hey Howdy Hey, Matt,
Thanks for stopping here at planDisney with your question. Having stayed at
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, I can tell you that you are in for a rootin’ tootin’ good time there!
I have good news, Matt. If you mosey into town before check-in, you are as welcome as can be to park your RV in the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground parking lot and head to the theme parks. When you arrive at the security gate, provide the Security Cast Member with your name and photo identification and let them know you are early and plan to park your vehicle and head to the parks until check-in time. The Cast Member will direct you where to park. From there, head to the Outpost Depot where you can saddle up in one of the
Walt Disney World Resort busses offering complimentary transportation to the theme parks.
Matt, do remember that you will need
valid theme park admission and a
Theme Park Reservation for each day of your visit. So, keep your wits about you and get that taken care of so you don’t get caught with a snake in your boot!
You are going to love Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! Give the
boat transportation to and from Magic Kingdom Park a try. I love how it gives me time to kick back and relax before and after a big day at the park. And one of my favorite dining locations,
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, is located over in Pioneer Hall. Be sure to make
advanced dining reservations so you can enjoy all the rip-roaring fun of the show while you enjoy an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner. Remember to save room for the strawberry shortcake!
I hope you will
stop back by and ask any other questions you might have about planning your vacation. You’ve got a friend in planDisney when it comes to making your time at
Walt Disney World Resort “the wildest ride in the wilderness!”
Wishing you happy trails,
Shannon
