    We arrive in Disney World the day after Toy Story 3 opens. Do you know if anything special will be going on in the parks that week in connection with the release of the movie?

    Our family can't wait for the premiere of Toy Story 3. I can't believe Andy is going away to college.

    There have been no official announcements at this time regarding how Disney World might celebrate or kickoff the new movie. I can tell you though that we have been there a few times on premiere day of other Disney films including Cars, UP and A Bug's Life. For those films we were able to purchase special Opening Day pins and merchandise. We also visited Hollywood Studios on premiere day and was treated to the first appearance of some of the new Disney stars in the afternoon parade or meet and greet opportunities.

    I would imagine as the opening day approaches, there may be an announcement of any special happenings. Given the current popularity of Toy Story, even years after the first two movies, leads me to believe you may see an increase in Toy Story character appearances. I was just at Disney World and there is already an increase in the selection of Toy Story merchandise available.
