Hello, If I arrive at my Disney Resort before 3pm can I check in or do I have to wait until 3pm

    Hi, Judith!

If you arrive at your Disney Resort before 3 p.m., you can start the check-in process and, if you are lucky, you'll get a room assigned to you and will be ready to go! If the room is not available yet, you can still complete the rest of the check-in process (provide your information, put a credit card on file, set up your MagicBands, etc.) and give them your phone number so they send you a text message when your room is ready. My family and I always get to our hotel early in the morning (international flight) and we always head straight to a Park or visit Disney Springs and get out vacation started!

You can leave your bags and suitcases with Bell Services  (they will give you a card with a distinctive number for you to claim them later) and hop on a bus to go directly to one of the Parks or Disney Springs for some great food and shopping! When you receive the text indicating your room is ready, you can choose to go back to your Resort hotel to get in your room and settle in or not! If you are like me, you will want to stay for more fun at the Park of your choice and head over to your room after the fireworks!

Judith, I hope this helps. I wish you a super productive and fun trip to Walt Disney World from beginning to end! And remember, you can come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions as many times as you need to! We are always happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
