If you arrive the day before a blackout period ends or one day early for free dining how would you go about trying to still get the free dining? Could you book two reservations the second one being the start of the non blackout period?

Hi Nicole!  As I'm sure you know, Disney's Free Dining offer is one of its most popular promotions. Offered during non peak times at the theme parks, it allows guest to enjoy the best of Disney restaurants while saving close to 30% on dining.  Should you book your Disney vacation prior to a free dining promotion, you can call and have the dining promo added to your resort stay.  Should you arrive on the final day of the free dining offer, Disney provides for you to retain the free dining offer through the duration of your stay.  Should you arrive on a blackout day or the day before a free dining offer begins, you will not be allowed to add on the promo on your second day.  You would need to book two reservations, one for the special offer and on for the blackout period.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
