Hi! We will be arrive on April 3rd. Will the Chocolate Easter eggs will be on display at the Grand Floridian this year? And is it within walking distance from Magic Kingdom?

Welcome BACK to planDisney, Patricia! Thanks for stopping by with your “egg-cellent” question about holiday celebrations in Walt Disney World during Easter. You will be arriving in The Most Magical Place on Earth just in time to enjoy the wonderful Easter and springtime festivities, decorations, and special seasonal tasty treats.

My family loves staying at Disney Resort hotels during the holidays, enjoying the incredible displays such as the decorated chocolate Easter eggs. It adds a sprinkle of holiday pixie dust to an already magical vacation. Due to the health and safety measures in Walt Disney World, some experiences are not available. It has not yet been determined if the chocolate Easter egg displays will take place this Easter. I highly encourage you to check out the Disney Parks Blog for news, announcements, and updates as Easter approaches.

To get from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa you have a few transportation options. Monorail transportation, water taxi transportation, and since the pathway between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is now open, you have the option to walk!

I highly recommend that you check out the Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival during your visit. You can enjoy the beautiful gardens, fun topiary displays of Disney Characters, and the fabulous spring-inspired delicacies of the Outdoor Kitchens

I hope you have a magical vacation in Walt Disney World this April! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
