How would I make arrangements for a one on one "assistant" for our 10 year old son with Autism when we go on a Disney Cruise? My husband and I would like for him to experience some of the areas meant just for children but he would need someone w

    Ahoy Dawn!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.  The youth counselors in the Oceaneer Club and Lab do their best to accommodate children with special needs, but they are not usually able to provide one-on-one assistance.  My advice is to visit the Oceaneer Club and Lab on the first afternoon of your sailing to speak to the counselors and manager on duty.  You will be able to discuss your son's particular situation and find out how best they can meet his needs when he is checked-in.  I'm sure you can work something out so he can experience all the youth spaces offer.
Please let me know if I can help your further, Dawn.
    Have a magical day!
