I've arranged with DCL for a port transfer from a WDW hotel to the Dream. How will I know what time it departs? Do I get a mailing in advance or info at the hotel? Typically what time to the port transfers depart WDW? Thanks!

Hi Erin! It's so nice to start your Disney Cruise Line adventure with a stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts before you embark on the high seas!

The night before you set sail, you will receive a call or a note in your resort room letting you know when to meet and where to have your luggage ready the following morning. Because Port Canaveral doesn't open until about 11:00, most of the Disney Cruise Line ground transfers don't leave until at least 10:30 or so, but you will get an exact time the night before. Certainly you'll be heading off before lunch, as a wonderful buffet lunch will await you on the Dream when you arrive!

Once you climb onboard your motorcoach, sit back, relax, watch the Disney Cruise Line video to get you even more excited about your sailing, then keep your eyes open. Before you know it, you'll be arriving at Port Canaveral and spotting your home for the next few days, the Disney Dream!

Stop back with any other questions you have, Erin! I'm happy to help!
