    How do I arrange for a rental car for one day of our stay? We are staying at Disney's Port Orleans. Should I arrange this before our arrival or can the hotel assist us after we arrive?

    Hi Catherine. Renting a car is a breeze while at Disney World. Both Alamo and National rental car companies have locations in the Disney Car Care Centre, which is located just outside the Magic Kingdom. There is a shuttle service from the Car Care Centre that will pick you up at Port Orleans Riverside and drop you back off when you return the car.  There are also Alamo and National locations in the Disney World Dolphin Resort.  There is an Avis Rental Car at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista, just across from Downtown Disney.

    Whenever I rent a car at Disney World, it always seems that the rates get higher the closer I get to our vacation dates. Given this, I always try to book as early in advance as possible, and suggest you do the same. Leaving until the last minute could result in extremely high prices and limited availability.
