Mark,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
It is so easy to book a tee time at any of Walt Disney World's golf courses, either online or via phone.
My preference is online, and all you need to do is visit the site for your preferred course. You can see links to all of them below in my planning notes. About halfway down the page you will see an online link that takes you to their reservation site. From there you can choose your course, date, party size, and time. I just checked, and reservations for the Palm course were available for singles at 8:10 am and 9:30 am on December 26th. If you expand the time search, I am sure more tee times are still available.
If you would rather call, simply dial
(407) WDW-GOLF or
(407) 939-4653. While reservations are highly recommended, they said they can occasionally accommodate walk ups or last-minute singles.
PLANNING TIPThere is more than one course at Walt Disney World, so research ahead of time to pick the one that matches your game. The options include
•
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course•
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course (9-hole walking course)
•
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course•
Disney's Palm Golf CourseBONUS TIP #1The Magnolia course is currently undergoing an extensive redesign, and I don't expect it will be open for you in December. My suggestion is to go to the Palm. It has been used for PGA events in the past, so it is a great golfing experience.
BONUS TIP #2Maybe you have a time for one more round? What about miniature golf? Walt Disney World has two great courses,
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
