Would like to arrange birthday surprise for my daughter-in-law when we cruise the week of July 5-12. Does the cruise line offer any type of packages?

Welcome aboard, Diane! Your daughter-in-law is in for a fabulous birthday when you set sail with Disney Cruise Line this summer! I spent my birthday onboard the Disney Wonder last year and it was one of the best ones yet!

Disney Cruise Line offers a few different packages to help guests celebrate special occasions. Check out the Gifts and Amenities page of their website. There you'll see celebration cakes that are available for pre-order, stateroom decorations and more. Imagine walking into the stateroom the first day and seeing it decorated for her birthday! What fun! There are also wine, beer, and other food and beverage packages that would make for a nice birthday surprise.

Be sure she stops by Guest Services to pick up a birthday button. Cast Members and other guests will stop her and wish her a happy birthday all over the ship! Also, if you haven't already, be sure to make a note on your reservation that says you'll be celebrating her birthday. This information is given to your servers at dinner so that they can celebrate by singing her a birthday song and presenting her with a special treat.

Have fun planning, Diane! Let us know if you have any other questions before you set sail!
