How do you arrange for a behind the scenes tour of all of Disney World

There are many different behind the scenes tours at Walt Disney World. You can find the main information page about tours on the Walt Disney World website at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tours-and-experiences/ Or if you prefer to speak with a reservation agent, you can call 407-WDW-TOUR.

I personally have taken the Backstage Safari, Backstage Magic, Family Magic, Pirates and Pals Voyage, Keys to the Kingdom, Around the World at Epcot, and Behind the Seeds Tours. I'm very excited that to be booked on the first ever Wild Africa Trek tour at the Animal Kingdom next week.

The most extensive tour is the Backstage Magic excursion. This is a 7-hour long behind-the-scenes look at three of the parks (lunch is included). On this tour, we were shown costume design areas, the princess wig styling room, ride repair and construction areas, the wedding floral arrangers, cast member support areas, and countless other hidden gems. I am a real Disney veteran and I learned dozens of new facts about the way the parks are run. This is not an inexpensive tour, but there are often discounts available for Disney Visa card holders, Disney annual pass holders, DVC members, and others. If you decide to book this tour, be sure to ask about possible discounts. I found it to be worth every penny. The shorter version of this, Keys to the Kingdom, that only focuses on the Magic Kingdom.

Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World.
