how to arrange for adjacent rooms or wilderness cabins , # 2

Hi there, Stephen! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! The only thing more fun than planning a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort is planning it with some of your favorite people. Whenever I travel with my friends or family, I always make a request for our rooms to be near each other. I love experiencing everything that The Most Magical Place on Earth has to offer and I love it even more when I get to share it with my loved ones! Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared, and your trip is bound to be an extra special one!

Stephen, I'm happy to tell you that making a room request like this is easy! No matter which resort you choose to call home - from a groovy room at Disney's Pop Century Resort to a pine-surrounded cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - this room request can be made by speaking to one of the wonderful Cast Members.

Cast Members are like real-life fairy godparents who try to add a little pixie dust to every situation. While room requests can't be guaranteed, Cast Members will always try to stretch their magic wands as far as they can reach! There are a few ways you can make this room request:
    • You can call a Cast Member. A Cast Member can either help you book your rooms and add your room request, or they can just add a room request to rooms that you've booked on your own. If you decide to call, I'd recommend calling right at 7:00 AM EST when phone lines open since their help can be in high demand!
    • You can contact a Cast Member through Chat. This option would work best if you've already booked your own rooms. I prefer to use the Chat feature through the My Disney Experience app. To do this, log into your account on the app and tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll down a bit and tap Chat With Us. Let the Cast Member know that you're requesting that your room and the room(s) of your travel party be connected, or at least near each other. A Cast Member will respond to you as soon as they're able! Pro tip: When making your request for connecting rooms, make sure that you include both your confirmation number as well as the confirmation number for the other room(s) for your travel party. This will help the Cast Member to locate everyone's information seamlessly!
Once you've booked your rooms and tickets, make sure that you make theme park reservations through the Disney Park Pass system. This is the best way to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip! Also, take some time to explore the My Disney Experience app. This is a little like holding your own personal magic wand, unlocking everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! You can view park maps, check wait times for attractions, and even mobile order food when you're on vacation. To me, things just feel much more magical when I can minimize waits and maximize fun!

If you have any other questions, I hope you fly your magic carpet our way again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
