We aren't Disney Resort guests but I have two boys who absolutely love Disneys Cars. Are we allowed to go to the Art of Animation resort to take a look round and what do we do regarding parking or getting there please?

    Heather,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Walking around the Cars area at Disney's Art of Animation Resort really does drop you into the movies! Disney does require that visitors to their resorts have a pending reservation, or other advance purpose for visiting, so parking there might not be feasible. But don't worry, I have a suggestion of how you can enjoy the magic of the resort!

What I would suggest you do is drive to Disney's Hollywood Studios and park there. After parking, you can enjoy a soaring ride on the Disney Skyliner over to the Art of Animation, giving you all the time you need to visit. When you are there, make sure you visit the other areas as well. While Cars may be the primary reason to visit, the Lion King, Little Mermaid, and Finding Nemo areas are equally amazing!

    BONUS TIP
Some guests may not think much of food court dining, but if you are hungry, you will find that The Landscape of Flavors at the Art of Animation is a great place to grab a bite. The menu variety is far broader than you might expect.

Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
