We will in the area July 2nd with our daughter (2 1/2) for the day. There is so much to do, it's a bit overwhelming with all the parks to consider. Which area do you suggest we visit and mainly focus on to have the best experience in such a short time?

    Hi Rachel!

It may seem overwhelming to plan a day at Walt Disney World, but don't worry, here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel we can help you plan a magical day that is stress-free!

I think that your daughter will enjoy the Magic Kingdom park the most. You should visit just one park since you will only be there for one day and so you and your daughter aren't overwhelmed on your first trip. Consider booking a dining experience for your little princess at Cinderella's Royal Table, in which she can dine in the actual Cinderella Castle and meet Cinderella and her closest princess friends.

Make sure to arrive early, prior to the park opening, so you can enjoy the day to the fullest. I suggest making a list of the top five things you want to do that day, so you don't get overwhelmed with options.

I suggest heading straight to Fantasyland and experiencing Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Mickey's Philharmagic and Winnie the Pooh. Another resource you may find helpful is planning for preschool and little ones. This provides great tips for making the most of your experience with your little one!
