Ahoy, Alexia!
It's almost time to set sail with Disney Cruise Line! It will be a MARVELous 5-night journey to Cozumel and
Disney Castaway Cay on the
Disney Destiny. Your vacation will be filled with one magical moment after the next, including all the splashtacular fun you'll enjoy on the pool decks.
The
AquaMouse should be running normally on your sailing this coming week. This winding water coaster at sea, with its beautiful views and animated scenes, is a thrilling adventure with a few surprises along the way. Hours of operation will be listed in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so you can check them once you connect to the DCL-Guest Wi-Fi at the port or on board. The minimum height to experience this wet journey is 42 inches, and 48 inches to ride solo. If anyone in your crew is under 7, they must ride with someone 14 or older. My fingers are crossed that there will be no technical issues or high winds to cause an unexpected closure on your sailing. If that does happen, keep an eye on the app for reopening times. In my experience, the best times to enjoy this attraction without a long wait on sea days are when it opens, late in the afternoon before the first dinner seating, and in the evenings. My family also likes to ride if we come back early from being off the ship in port. We head straight up to the AquaMouse and drop our belongings in the cubbies provided. We've been known to get in multiple trips on this exhilarating coaster on port days! There are 4 shows to experience on the Destiny's AquaMouse, including "Sing a Silly Song," which is villain-themed and exclusive to the ship. I hope you'll be able to see all of them next week!
Alexia, soon you'll be heading to the coast to explore the Disney Destiny. Enjoy dining in the
Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King, tapping your toes to
Disney Hercules in the Walt Disney Theatre, and interacting with some of your favorite characters like Black Panther, Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, and Mickey and the gang. The Grand Hall will be the hub for many of the
entertainment events, so be sure to arrive early for a good spot. Zayah and Gamble will guide you through the week with their storytelling and immersive encounters. They are a highlight of the ship's entertainment lineup!
Safe travels to Port Canaveral! I hope your week is filled with magic and pixie dust.
Bon Voyage,
Nancy
