Can you still do the aqua tour without purchasing an Epcot park ticket?

Hi, Rebecca, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The 5.7 million gallon saltwater aquarium in The Seas With Nemo and Friends Pavilion at Epcot is truly jaw-dropping. Visiting it is a “must-do” for me and my family every time we go to Epcot. You’ll see all sorts of sea life from sharks to sea turtles to stingrays!

Since the Epcot Seas Adventures – Aqua Tour is considered a “backstage” experience, you do not need a separate admission ticket for Epcot in order to participate in the tour. You’ll check in to the right of the main entrance (near the Resort bus drop-off area) near the Guest Relations window. After your orientation and tour of the aquarium, you’ll suit up and prepare for your adventure! Although wetsuits, fins and the snorkeling gear will be provided for you, make sure you bring your bathing suit. There are locker rooms available for changing into your swimsuit, and showers available once your experience has concluded. Although you’ll only be in the water for 30-40 minutes, the entire experience will last about two and a half hours.

If your plans change, make sure you modify or cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance--otherwise you will forfeit your refund. Read the “Know Before You Go” section of the Aqua Tour’s webpage for additional information.

Enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience, Rebecca! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can recommend or any other questions we can answer for you as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

We hope to see you real soon,
    Amy
