We are in April, and are thinking about purchasing tickets. One- is it worth it to go with a 5 1/2 month old? Will she be allowed on any rides with me/? and 2- if we purchased water park -what can she go on?

    Dear Mallory,

Thanks for touching base with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about bringing your daughter to the Walt Disney World Resort!

It is definitely a personal opinion about whether or not to bring an infant, but I can tell you that many, many people do! Walt Disney World Resort does an amazing job of accommodating families with children of all ages. One of the biggest perks, of course, is that she would not need a theme park ticket to enter!

There are plenty of attractions that allow infants, and many of the attractions that she can't ride have "rider switch" options wherein you ride the attraction while your family member waits with the baby, and then without having to wait in line again, your family member can go on the attraction. Ask a Cast Member for details.

For the water parks, both include plenty of options for infants such as Tike's Peak in Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, or Ketchakiddee Creek in Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! Hours of fun!

Moms Panel tip - Check out the Baby Care Centers in each of the parks if you need a break or some cool indoor air! If you happen to have forgotten any baby supplies, they have those too!

Have a magical time with your little one!
