    1) Approximately, how long is the bus ride from Disney Springs to Animal Kingdom? 2) How far in advance can you cancel a 1-day park ticket and how long is it good for?

Welcome to planDisney, Angela!  We are glad you stopped by with your questions.

Buses do not run from Disney Springs to any of the four theme parks, so you will not be able to take a bus directly to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  If instead, you were referring to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge resort hotel, the actual driving time is approximately 20 - 25 minutes.  Buses run every 20 minutes on average (depending on the time of day, buses may be more or less frequent), so I would allow 45 minutes to an hour total travel time.  If you are headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you'll need to transfer buses.  In this case, I would allow approximately 90 minutes.  Disney Springs officially opens most days at 10:00 am (although some dining locations open earlier), so I would expect buses to be less frequent until that time.

In most cases, ticket modifications, including changing the start date of your ticket, can be made up until midnight ET of the day prior to the ticket's first valid date.  The value of a fully unused, expired ticket can be applied to the cost of a new ticket.  Since I have no way of knowing the specifics of your particular ticket, I recommend visiting Guest Relations or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to ask about your ticket options.  You may also contact the Existing Tickets line at (407) 934-7639.

Angela, if you have any additional questions please feel free to visit planDisney again.  We are always happy to help.
