What is the approximate time to travel FROM the Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom on the monorail? Also, what is the approximate time to travel FROM Saratoga Springs Resort (treehouse villas) TO the MK? And FROM the treehouse villas TO Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Stacey,

I hope you're looking forward to your visit to the most magical place on earth! I'd be happy to help you figure out some of these travel details before you arrive!

First of all, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the last stop along the Monorail before Magic Kingdom Park, so travel times should be really short. I'd plan on about 5 - 10 minutes, although sometimes it will take several minutes once you board before the Monorail departs the Resort hotel.

And I'm assuming you're staying in a Treehouse Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa? You are going to LOVE it! My family so enjoyed our stay there and found it to be super relaxing and peaceful. I'd definitely recommend taking a boat ride from the Treehouse Villas over to Disney Springs at some point. It's a short ride and something fun to do! Back to transportation, though, you'll need to take an internal bus from the Treehouse Villas over to the main Resort before heading to a theme park. Buses come every 20 minutes on average, and once your bus arrives, it will be a short ride over to Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, maybe around five minutes. You'll need to then transfer buses to get to the theme parks. Once that bus has arrived, I'd expect a ride in normal traffic conditions to Magic Kingdom Park to take between 10 - 15 minutes and one to Disney's Animal Kingdom should take about 20 minutes.

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stacey, and have a truly magical vacation!
