Ahoy there, Courtney!
Thanks for sailing over to planDisney with your question. Few things make an upcoming Disney vacation feel more real than when you begin packing your bags, so I'm happy to help you figure out what beverages you can pack alongside your mouse ears!
While
Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of complimentary non-alcoholic beverages for Guest enjoyment, you are more than welcome to bring factory-sealed, nonperishable non-alcoholic beverages of your own if there's something in particular you worried won't be available on board. Additionally, if you're a budget-minded Mouseketeer like myself and are hoping to
bring alcoholic beverages with you when you board, Disney Cruise Line policy permits Guests 21 and older to bring up to 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage.
Regardless of what type of beverage you're packing, you'll need to be sure to have it in a carry-on bag in your possession when you board rather than in your checked luggage as any beverages left in your checked bags will be removed. While my bag of
embarkation day essentials is typically a tote, I suggest placing your beverages in a small rolling bag as carrying beverages on your shoulder might grow tiresome after a while, and because each Guest is permitted to embark with one carry-on bag and one personal item, you'll have plenty of space for all of your necessities!
I hope this information proves helpful, Courtney, and that you're sailing toward that
line where the sky meets the sea so very soon. If any additional questions arise as the countdown in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app approaches zero, feel free to come see us again. We're always happy to help here at
planDisney!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
