    What is an appropriate gratuity for a shore excursion?

    Welcome aboard, Lynn! You must be getting ready to head out on the high seas with Disney Cruise Line for a magical voyage! I'm glad to hear you've got at least one exciting Port Adventure planned too! 

    My family and I have enjoyed some really amazing Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line in ports of call around the world, and I have to tell you - they do not disappoint! Our tour guides have been great, as have the drivers, so while you should never feel you must tip, it usually is customary, and we've been happy to do so because of the amazing adventures these guides have provided for us!

    Gratuities for tour guides or tour drivers can vary, but in speaking with many guests, it seems that about $5 to $10 per person is average, or possibly more for longer and more involved adventures. Of course, again, that is up to your discretion and how you feel about the level of service you receive on the adventure.
