Hi. We're approaching our 180 day mark but wanted to know if I can book up close with the rhino and caring for giants tour at 180 days out.. Also are both these pre paid on booking. Just want to be prepared. Thanks

Hello there, Sharon! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is known as one of the best places to view exotic animals by those that adore all things wild! In addition, this park has begun offering many exciting opportunities to get even closer and learn even more about its inhabitants! Two of the most popular "backstage" tours are the Up Close with Rhinos Tour and the Caring for Giants Tour. Both of these opportunities allow Guests to journey behind the scenes and see what goes into taking care of these magnificent creatures. After experiencing the Up Close with Rhinos Tour, I cannot recommend these tours enough! It was such a phenomenal opportunity to learn more about this species and find out ways that we can assist in their conservation!

Reservations for both of these tours may be made 180 days prior to the date of attendance. You can book your own tour by calling (407) WDW-PLAY. Guests do pay for their reservations at the time of booking as well. I strongly recommend making your reservations as early as possible since this is an incredibly popular experience!

I hope you and your family have a WILD time visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
