I approach Disney World in three weeks, and will owe two offices at my workplace a snack or two from the trip - something to place on the break room counter for a bunch of people to take a bit of. What might you suggest that'll survive the flight home?

Hi Erik, and welcome back to planDisney! We’re so glad you stopped by with this fun question. With your trip just around the corner, I can imagine your co-workers are feeling a little green with envy that you get to escape to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let’s find some treats that will travel well, so you can bring a little magic back home to them!

With a long journey back home, we want to be thinking about items that are non-perishable and packaged well for the trip. I would first suggest stopping by The Main Street Confectionary. There are many packaged treats to choose from there, so you will be able to find a variety of yummy options for your friends to sample. You might think about rice crispy treats or flavored popcorn. These are popular Disney snacks that should travel nicely. There are also some bagged candies that can be found at the Confectionary, as well as other merchandise locations like the Emporium. I’m a big fan of gummy candies, and I have to say that the Goofy’s Candy Company character gummies are actually some of the best I’ve ever had…so don’t sleep on the candies!

A couple of my planDisney besties also have some great recommendations. My friend Sean recently recommended Greetings from Paradise Falls Coconut Passion Fruit Milk Chocolate candies, which can be found in many gift shops throughout the resort. He even said you can find them at the Disney store in the Orlando airport if you need a last-minute souvenir! My friend Melanie also recently shared an excellent post about what she calls “consumable souvenirs” that you might find really helpful.

Erik, I hope this helps you bring a little of Walt Disney World back to your friends at work! When you tell them about your amazing vacation and they’re ready to plan their own magical Disney getaway, send them our way here at planDisney. If you have any more questions in the meantime, come back and see us. We always love adding a little extra pixie dust to your Disney vacation planning!

    Your pal,
    Casey
