We have a 9am appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for my daughters, then a 12noon reservation for lunch with the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. What is the best way to get from Downtown Disney to Epcot so we make it on time? Thanks.

Hi Jagath! I love that your daughters are heading to lunch with the princesses after a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique -- they're going to be looking their princess best for their meal with royalty!

Depending on which package your daughters selected at the Boutique, their makeovers should be finished by 10 or 10:15 a.m. You'll have plenty of time to get to your Akershus reservation. Buses don't run directly to Epcot from Downtown Disney, so you'll have to take a bus (or boat) to a resort and then transfer to an Epcot bus. The quickest route would be to choose a bus or boat headed to one of the Downtown Disney area resorts (such as Saratoga Springs or Port Orleans) and then catch a bus to Epcot. Alternatively you can take a bus to one of the Epcot area resorts (such as the Yacht and Beach Club, the Swan and Dolphin, or the Boardwalk) and walk to Epcot from there. Either way, the trip will take at least an hour since you may have to wait for multiple buses. However, you should still have enough time to enter Epcot and walk to Akershus. If you don't want to spend that long traveling, taxis are available at Downtown Disney that can take you directly to Epcot.

Hope your little princesses enjoy their makeovers and royal lunch! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
