It would appear that MK will be closing at 6 p.m. on select nights when MVMCP is scheduled. Is Disney trying to ensure that all non-ticket holders have exited the park prior to the 7 p.m. start? I just seem to remember the park staying open until 7 p.m.

    Hi Melissa,

I love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! The extra holiday magic with cookies and snow on Main Street is magical. My family generally does not go to a park on the day we attend the party. We hangout at our resort or head to Disney Springs. We head to Magic Kingdom at 4 so we can enter the park on our special events ticket.

Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 pm on nights that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party takes place and guests who do not have a ticket will be escorted from the park. I am not sure why the change is in place but for guests attending the party, they will have less guests for an hour.

Tickets are on sale so make sure to get one while the best selection is available.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
