AoA family suite or POFQ? 3 boys (11, 9, 7) staying 4 nights...only about a $500 difference. Or can you recommend another option in the same price range for the five of us? Boys love pools, but don't plan to spend much time in our room!

Hi, Mindy!  A family suite at the Art of Animation resort will give you a little bit more space to spread out, and even though you don't plan to spend a lot of time in your room, even just getting ready in the morning is easier with the extra space.

We are a family of five as well, and I can't tell you how much I love having the two full bathrooms.  I can be showering in on bathroom, while one of the kids is bathing in another.  It's also really handy to have the small microwave oven, so I can put a quick breakfast together for the kids before we go.

The pool area at Art of Animation is awesome!  The kids area may even appeal to your youngest.

Port Orleans French Quarter would require two bedrooms, but Riverside offers rooms that have a small Murphy bed that would be a great size for children under the age of about nine.  You won't have the microwave or the two bathrooms, but if you don't mind, the resort itself and the pool is really amazing.  My kids could skip the theme parks and spend a whole vacation at the resort, they love the pool area so much.

I think the ultimate decision comes down to what you are looking for in terms of space, theme and convenience.  I love Art of Animation, and think even with minimal resort time, the separate sleeping area for mom and dad is a great feature, especially when the other amenities are considered.

    I hope this helps!
