Hi Moms! Is there anywhere you recommend for catching the older or not-so-common characters? Of course we want to meet Mickey and pals, but we would be tickled if we could find ones like Robin Hood, Maleficent, Cinderella mice or Darkwing Duck. Thnx

    Hi Chris,

I LOVE seeing out-of-the-ordinary characters as well. The most common time to see unusual characters is during special events. For example, many of the villains only appear at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I've also heard that many of the hero-type characters (Hercules, for example) will make special appearances during the Disney Princess Half Marathon. Of course, there's always a possibility that any of these characters could randomly show up on Main Street, but this would be impossible to predict.

My best advice to you would be to stop by the Guest Relations office at any of the theme parks. Ask them to call the "Character Hotline" for you. The hotline can tell them exactly if, where, and when any specific character will be appearing at the time of your visit.

    Good luck with your search!
