Hi Tricia!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You had me at “grass-fed beef”! My family tries to keep a “clean” diet, but we are also a bunch of foodies, so I understand your desire to find
healthy AND delicious options for your family.
Let’s start with that burger! A friend recently visited
The Wave… of American Flavors, and there was a grass-fed burger on the menu. The restaurant is focused on local/sustainable cuisine, so this is a fantastic dining option for you!
The Edison in Disney Springs has delicious signature burgers. “The Edison” is their signature beef blend of brisket, short rib, and sirloin, and recently, their “Burger of the Month” was a grass-fed buffalo burger. Menu selections are always subject to change, but I would head to these restaurants first.
In terms of “clean” meals, two of my favorite Quick Service options are
Satu’li Canteen and
Sunshine Seasons.
California Grill and
Yachtsman Steakhouse serve some of the highest grade meats on property. Disney Chefs are committed to providing all Guests with a fantastic dining experience. All of the Table Service (and most Quick Service) restaurants will have a
delicious vegetarian option. Just make sure to
communicate with your server on arrival to your dining location. I highly recommend the Vegan Korma at Sunshine Seasons, and the Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl at Satu’li Canteen is my kids’ favorite Quick-Service meal.
Most importantly, you are arriving just in time for the finale of the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! The World Showcase highlights international cuisine, and you are bound to find delicious, organic options! Earth Eats hosted by Impossible Foods has a vegetarian slider as well as an organic kombucha flight. I will be sampling there, as well as the vegetarian dishes in India and the vegetarian dessert waffles in Belgium!
Tricia, keep an eye out for the
Disney Check at your dining locations. It is the easiest way to spot healthy options. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. chEARs to a
foodie vacation!
