Is there anywhere on Disney property that has free wireless internet? We are staying at the Dolphin and it seems to be $10/day. I was hoping the resort lobbies would have a connection. Thanks!

The answer to your question is unfortunately no. I have not been able to find free Internet at any of the WDW hotels. Prices can change, but currently (February 2008), Internet service is $9.95 per day at all Disney resorts. Most of the service is via high-speed Internet cable in the rooms. A few of the resorts do have wireless access in some of their lobby areas, but there is still the same daily fee for this.

The first step toward reduced pricing on Internet service at WDW is that the Disney Vacation Club recently voted to make Internet access free to DVC owners staying at DVC properties. I was told last week by a cast member at the Beach Club Villas that this rule would go into effect at some point during the summer of 2008. Other than that, if you want high speed Internet at WDW, you're going to have to pay for it.
