Is there anywhere in the DCA area where I can have my daughter's graduation Mickey ears embroidered?

Welcome to planDisney, Kathy! Bringing home a souvenir from the Disneyland Resort is one of the best ways to keep the magic alive long after your visit ends. And when that souvenir marks a meaningful milestone, like a graduation, it becomes even more special. I still have my college graduation ears proudly displayed in my office. They’re a cheerful reminder of both my achievement and the magical celebration that followed.

If you’re looking to personalize a pair of ears for your own celebration, I’m happy to report that embroidery services are available at several locations. At Disney California Adventure, stop by Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street for a classic selection. Over at Disneyland, The Mad Hatter offers embroidery services at both its Main Street and Fantasyland locations. And if you’re exploring the Downtown Disney District, World of Disney also offers embroidery on select items. While graduation ear hats are a popular choice, you’ll be glad to know that embroidery is available on a variety of hat styles, so you’re sure to find the perfect fit.

If you’re in the mood for other personalized keepsakes, I’ve got a few more favorites to share. Plaza Point on Main Street is a delightful stop for ornaments and other treasures that Cast Members can personalize with hand-painted details. Crystal Arts features gorgeous etched glass items that can also be customized; ideal if you’re looking for something elegant. And one of my all-time favorite hidden gems is the Silhouette Studio on Main Street, where talented artists create hand-cut silhouette portraits in under 90 seconds. Alongside their ear hats, our daughters’ silhouettes have a cherished place in our home.

Before you head off on your shopping adventure, be sure to download the Disneyland app! It’s a must-have planning tool that can help you locate merchandise spots, check wait times, view entertainment schedules, and even place mobile food orders. Because let’s be honest: no day at Disneyland is complete without a snack (or two)!

I hope your upcoming visit is filled with magical moments and memories that last a lifetime. And if you ever need more advice, Kathy, we’re always here for you at planDisney.

    Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip,
