Hi, Brenda! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Just like Gramma Tala is Moana's best friend and confidante, it sounds like you and your grandma are very close. I would love to help you plan her first trip to Disneyland Resort!
After the domestic Disney Parks reopened,
Theme Park Reservations were instituted to help make the guest experience better and safer. I completely understand how anxious you must feel about getting them for your upcoming visit. The good news is that when I checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar this morning, I could see availability for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on April 26. But I advise acting fast and buying your grandmother's ticket today. When you
purchase theme park tickets through the Disneyland website, you will specify your desired date, and then the theme park reservation is automatically added to your account. After purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code, and you should also be able to see the reservation on your
Disneyland Mobile app. I'll send some pixie dust your way so that it all goes smoothly!
I came up with a few fun things for the two of you to do together on your special day, Brenda:
*Eat a Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar together.
*Meet her favorite Disney Character (
traditional character Meet and Greets return on April 18).
*Treat her to lunch at the
Plaza Inn. The Fried Chicken is amazing!
*Ask a
Disney PhotoPass Photographer to snap your picture together in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
*Stay for the
Main Street Electrical Parade.
I hope you have fun making magical memories later this month, Brenda! See ya real soon!
