Hi, anything you can tell me about staying at the Polynesian Resort. We've been to WDW a lot, but never stayed at this resort before. Any insider tips would be great. We're staying at the beginning of Aug with a 8 yr old and a 2 yr old. Thanks!

    Hi Cindy!

Polynesian is an absolutely beautiful resort! The pool is incredible and your kids will love it! You can see the Wishes fireworks show from the beach of the Polynesian and it is beautiful! I recommend that you spend at least one night at your resort instead of the parks and enjoy some of the poolside activities, watch the fireworks and enjoy a nice dinner at one of the wonderful dining options on site.

My favorite dining choice in all of Disney World is Ohana! Ohana is great for breakfast, with Lilo and Stitch, delicious juice and yummy pineapple bread.

At dinner Ohana serves delicious Hawaiian style meat, bread and bread pudding family style.

But one of the best things about Polynesian, especially for those with young children, is that you can take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.

If you really want to experience something special, request a room with a view of the Magic Kingdom!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
