Welcome aboard, Michelle! Disney Cruise Line offers
something for everyone, and that certainly includes those young adults that are too old for the Youth Clubs, but not quite old enough to enjoy a drink with their parents yet.
The fabulous Cruise Staff Team is the group that runs the family and adult activities around the ship, and let me tell you, they are a lot of fun. I don't know where they get all the energy they have, but they certainly know how to get guests involved and help them make the most of their sailing. They also run the 1820 Society gatherings each day. These are get togethers for those guests ages 18 through 20. Be sure your daughter heads to the first night's get together with this group, as that is when they meet each other for the first time. Many times, some of them will plan other things on their own from that point on, in addition to the published 1820 Society get togethers, so she won't want to miss that first gathering.
I sailed a couple of weeks ago, and on that cruise, the 1820 Society was out and about all the time. I saw so many activities listed in the Personal Navigator and on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for this group. Daily lunches, Smoothie Time, Game Challenges, Dodgeball on the Sports Deck, Stir It Blend It Taste It specialty coffee tastings, a Farewell party for the group, and more. Keep in mind, she can also attend any of the adult bars and pubs, clubs, adult exclusive dining, and all of the family shows entertainment. So, yes, your daughter will have plenty to do. She'll probably really enjoy being able to sneak away from all the kids to enjoy the
adult exclusive areas of the ship too. Quiet Cove Pool is my favorite relaxing spot, as is Cove Cafe. She won't miss out on a thing, Michelle.
Have fun as you count down to sailing!
