Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dolores!
I am very lucky to have experienced a New Years Eve at Walt Disney World Resort. It's a once in a lifetime experience I know my family will never forget.
If you're thinking of celebrating New Year's Eve at one of the parks, you may have to pay peak park ticket prices if you're planning to buy a one-day ticket for the holiday. My family spent New Year's Eve at Magic Kingdom Park. There wasn't a park special event, anyone with a standard park ticket could ring in 2015. There were dance parties in parts of the park. The park had to close to guests due to reaching an attendance limit, so you have to get there pretty early.
Some restaurants offer special New Years Eve reservations. You can keep up with Disney World's
online collection of holiday offerings. You can also keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to when there's a new announcement of additional New Year's Eve events.
I hope you have fun planning an unforgettable way to ring in 2017! Let me know if I can help you with any other planning questions along the way.
