Is there anything special to do for a child's birthday in magic kingdom. We have been saving and are able to come for one day to magic kingdom Saturday for my soon to be 5 year old daughter's birthday. We want her to have a very special day!

    Hi Kimberly!

There is no better place in the world to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World! First, make sure to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button when you arrive. A Cast Member will personalize it with her name so everyone will greet her with "Happy Birthday" throughout the day.

You can make an advanced reservation for Bibibbi Bobbidi Boutique and she will receive a special birthday sash instead of the regular sash with the package. You can choose between many different package options for her hair, makeup and nail options.

I also suggest making an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for a character meal at Crystal Palace, Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table 180 days in advance. If she likes princesses, I  suggest Cinderella's Royal Table, as she can dine in Cinderella Castle and meet Cinderella and all of her closest pals. Crystal Palace is an all-you-care-to-eat buffet in Magic Kingdom and she can meet Winnie the Pooh and Friends. Be Our Guest isn't a character dining experience, but you can dine in the Beast's castle and even try the grey stuff, it's delicious!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
