planDisney, David, and THANKS for stopping by with your vacation question. My family and I were lucky enough to stay in one of the newly refurbished 1-Bedroom Villas in Congress Park at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, last October. I was so incredibly pleased with the updates and enhancements that have been added with the refurbishment to my HOME resort! The colors are so fresh and clean and the décor so beautifully updated. I love the addition of the murphy bed, making it possible for my two teenage children to sleep separately, without us having to book the larger 2-Bedroom Villa; one comfortably slept on the single pull-down bed, while the other slept on the queen size murphy bed. It was the perfect fit for our family of four but could easily accommodate five if there are members in your party that are willing to share a bed. Plus, staying in Congress Park, we were just a short walk from all of the excellent
dining,
shopping, and
entertainment of
Disney Springs.
The refurbishment of
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is scheduled to be completed by Spring of 2021, so there is a good chance any preferred room you book will have already been refurbished. You can always specifically request a refurbished room when making your reservation, but as with all requests, there is no guarantee of availability.
