Can anyone tell me when the florida resident tickets go on sale? the 3 day ones for like 130

    Hi Cathy,

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  How I wish I were a Florida resident so that I could take advantage of all the special discounts and offers they make available throughout the year!

It sounds like you’re asking about the Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets that have been available in recent years.  These have offered either 3-day or 4-day options at a nicely discounted rate (with the 3-day being around the amount you mention), with specific expiration and blackout dates in place.  Information and details on those tickets for 2016 haven’t yet been released, so we don’t know for sure if or when they might be available.  However, if last year’s timeline is any clue, if they are offered again I’d expect we’ll hear more at the beginning of January - 2015 tickets went on sale on January 3, 2015.  I’d keep a close eye on the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website for the most up-to-date information or you can call the New Tickets and Special Events number listed on one the Contact Us page.  If you’re looking online, you’ll want to be sure you’re registered in your Disney account as a Florida resident and that you’re logged in when you visit the site to be sure you’re seeing all the great deals that are available to you.

Wishing you a magical 2016, Cathy!  Please stop by again if we can help answer any other questions.
