    Has anyone stayed at the WDW All-Star Sports Resort recently to make a suggestion on if its worth the extra $100 for a preferred room v. a standard room? Thanks :)

    Hi Jordan,

    The biggest difference between the preferred rooms and the standard rooms at All Star Sports is location. The preferred rooms are closer to the main pool, food court, and bus stop. The amenities inside the rooms are exactly the same and your access to the activities at the hotel is also identical.

    As with most Disney "it is worth it" questions, the answer here is "it depends." If you are an adult with mobility issues or have toddlers who are slow movers, then reducing your walking at the resort may be worth spending a bit extra. If you are not planning to eat at the food court often and will be driving to the parks rather than using the Disney bus system, then spending the extra money might not make sense for you.
