Can anyone recommend their favorite mini golf course? Will be coming in November with DD11, DS7 and DH. Thought one of the Santa courses might be fun since we will be visiting close to Christmas. Any suggestions?

    Hi Christina,

November is a great time to visit Disney World. The weather is typically very pleasant and depending on when you arrive, you may be able to enjoy a number of the Christmas decorations and events with smaller crowds.

Our family loves to play miniature golf and we especially love to play on the great courses at Disney World. Winter Summerland, located next to Blizzard Beach, offers two 18 hole courses. One is a winter blizzard in Florida and the other is a tropical island theme. The course has a fun whimsical theme with cute rhymes and props. These two courses are easier than the Fantasia course and are especially great for younger children.

Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf, across from the Swan Resort, also has two 18 hole courses. One of the courses resembles a real golf course with sand traps and water hazards. The course is quite difficult, especially for younger children.

The second course at Fantasia gardens is our absolute favorite, It features theming from the Disney classic Fantasia. It has squirting fountains, cool statues and greenery. The course is more challenging then the holes at Winter Summerland, but still easy enough for everyone in our family to have fun. We return again and again!

Both courses are open typically from 10am to 11pm and the cost is in the range of $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for children. The courses do offer some discounts, for example Annual Pass holders and DVC members, so be sure to ask. Additional information can be obtained by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

Wishing you many holes in one!
