Has anyone put together a spreadsheet of Disney Transportation that gives you your options between parks, resorts, recreation areas, etc? I am willing to forget my strict itinerary and enjoy the magic but I need a little since of control.

There isn't any official transportation schedule nor route map, as you are probably already aware, since the WDW transportation system is dynamic in terms of frequency and routes, depending upon how busy each location is throughout the day.

The closest thing I can think of to a spreadsheet with transportation routes, is an old "pdf" file that you can download at www.disneyzone.net (on the home page, select "site contents" from the left menu, and then scroll down to select "transportation charts" to get to the page where you can download an interesting table of transportation options between most points in WDW).  Please keep in mind that this table is a bit dated (still includes River Country, and Discovery Island!!), but a lot of the info hasn't changed.  If nothing else, it is an interesting table to read (at least for Disney nerds like me!).

If you want to figure out the best options between two points, using an online tool, I'd recommend using the transportation wizard at www.ourlaugingplace.com (click on "transportation wizard" at the bottom right corner of the home page).

If you want some great tips on the most common transportation routes, and best options, I recommend you click HERE to read a great prior post by Erin.  If you simply print this response, I think you'll be covered for 95% of your transportation needs!

Lastly, the Unofficial Guide to WDW has a fantastic table which compares the transportation time required using Disney Transportation vs. using your own car.  In the 2009 guide, it is on page 400-401.

    Hope that helps. ºoº
