Does anyone know the typical deals on vacation packages offered in January? Thinking of going from Jan 23/13 to 30/13 and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Does Disney usually offer the free dining plan or 30% off room rate during this time period?

Hi, Chris!  It's a bit tough to predict when or if discounts will be offered.  I can tell you that historically speaking, there are usually some room only discounts that can be applied to stays during January, and I have seen discounts of up to 35% on rooms during this time.

Free dining has not typically been offered during January, but I never say never!  I'd begin looking for January discount offers beginning in early fall.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find some pixie dust sprinkled on you and you"ll have discounts to take advantage of!
